Staff Accountant at B & Company
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 per year (Competitive, depending on experience)

Are you a dynamic Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a passion for strategic planning and client service? B & Company, a rapidly growing CPA firm based in beautiful Salt Lake City Utah, is seeking an experienced CPA to join our vibrant team. With clients across the nation, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional environment and make a meaningful impact on our clients’ financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of tax returns, including individual, S Corporation, partnership, C Corporation, nonprofit, and gift tax returns.
- Provide strategic planning and financial advisory services to diverse clientele, including business owners, investors, real estate funds, construction, e-commerce enterprises, and high net worth individuals.
- Operate independently, demonstrating initiative and taking ownership of tasks, while also collaborating with our team of experts.
- Fill in for Managing Partner as needed, assisting with client accounts and projects.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee and manage all accounting practices and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with Managing Partners to develop and implement financial and operational strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Current CPA license.
- A minimum of ten years of experience as a CPA, specifically in tax preparation, consulting, planning, and strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Proven track record of client management and strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
- GAAP experience preferred.
